Let me introduce myself

My name is Charles Parmentier. I'm a 27 years old self-taught graphic and web designer .
I currently live in West Sussex (UK).

My interest for web design initially started a few years back when a friend of mine introduced me to building web pages using plain and simple HTML.
A couple of years later something rekindled this interest; I had bought my first HTML book. A couple more followed after that, and before I knew it, I had found a new passion.

The rest as they say, is history.

What is it that I do

In the web & graphic design world, that is!

I specialise in front-end web development for small to medium size businesses, with a focus on usability (user-friendly), and web standards.
I hand-code all my designs using valid XHTML & CSS (search-engine friendly and better cross-browser compatibility).

I'm a big fan of uncluttered, clean and simple web solutions. I believe it's effective, pleasing on the eye and maybe more to the point, communicates better.
I strive in understanding your needs (or indeed your customers' needs) and come up with the best web solution that's just right for you.
I take great pride in what I do. I understand that your reputation subsequently is my reputation, therefore I understand it is in my best interest to deliver work of the best quality possible.

Graphic design is also a service I offer. From banner and internet add, to branding & logo design and brochure & leaflet design, those are all within my scope of skills.

• CWD was designed and coded for the most part with Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver CS3
• CWD was designed and coded by myself, using valid XHTML and CSS.
• CWD has seen about 3 different designs (before I eventually settled for this one)
